Hayate the Combat Butler ! (Hayate no Gotoku/ハヤテのごとく) is a Japanese manga series originally created and illustrated by Hata Kenjirou. The manga published by shogakukan and already in 27 volumes and still ongoing ~
The serialization already end in 2nd Season (by J.C. Staff) with total 77 episodes from 1st season (by Synergy SP) plus 1 OVA from 2nd Season Plot.
Hope the 3rd Season already created and will be airing soon (笑), and my personal opinion is this anime are really interesting and funny with many parody in it but can suddenly make a serious situation too. ~^^~
Story
Ayasaki Hayate ... is a boy who have an unlucky fate in his entire life. 10 years ago he told by Santa in his dream about the way to get a present from him, the person must work very hard in order to get the Christmas present. Hayate keep that word in mind and work very hard until now, and moreover his parents always use the money and saved it in the Dream world (which means always completely run out in gambled place).
Hayate never know his fate will really tragic because his parents selling he into "some Really nice person" as a Christmas present to him which means leave a big Debt into Hayate more than ¥150,000,000 ~
After the big mess, finally Hayate meet a blonde twintail girl called Nagi who also known later as a very rich girl from Sanzenin Family !
The fate for Debt-Ridden Butler ... Ayasaki Hayate start to begin too !
Character
Ayasaki Hayate
A boy (16 years old) who have a misfortune in his entire life from he born until now. After his parents sell him to "Really nice person" and end up give Hayate a Big Debt more than ¥150,000,000, he decided to kidnapped somebody and pay off his debt.
In the end, Hayate can't do it and end up in the Nagi's Residence and work as a Debt-Ridden Butler for Princess Nagi(ナギ王女様) who has pay Hayate debt.
Sanzenin Nagi
A girl (13 years old) from a very rich Sanzenin Family. She is very selfish and have a misunderstand situation really often with Hayate. She like Hayate in they first-meeting in Christmas Eve. An expert Hikikomori and have all the game from a classic until the latest console with the old until the latest games itself. She's dream is to become a famous pro mangaka, and the main chara name she create in her manga is Britney.
She is the one who'll inherit all the Sanzenin Property.
Maria
A genius girl who become a President Student Council in Hakuoh Academy in 10 years old and graduated in 13 years old. She work as a private teacher in Nagi's Residence for first time and into Maid until now. Despite her outside appereance who usually thought by other people is she already 20 years over, the truth is she still a fresh 17 years old . ~
Headchief Butler in Sanzenin Family's. He already 59 years old but his a professional butler who not escaped a little mistake in butler thing's. Usually considered a disturber by Nagi because he always give hayate a hard time and Klaus itself not agree if hayate become a new butler in Sanzenin Residence. Rarely appear in the both anime series and manga, truly a forgotten chara in here ~__~
A Sanzenin pet. He is a BIG white tiger who role as a cat. He can talk and always use a rough language, but just talk to Hayate and Hayate is the only one who knows that Tama can talk.
Trio Stupid (三ばか)
Consist from Asakaze Risa (Left), Segawa Izumi (Middle), and Hanabishi Miki (Right). Usually this three will pop out of nowhere to perform some nonsense subject or so.
She is the current student council president, captain of the kendo club, and an unofficial school idol who garners fans from both genders at Hakuo Academy, the school that Nagi, Isumi, Wataru, and eventually Hayate attends. Before Hinagiku's 6th birthday, she and her sister were abandoned by their biological parents who had left them with a debt of 80 million yen.
Following this her sister, Yukiji, managed to pay off the debt albeit through rather dubious means. After that the two of them went to live with the Katsura family, as Mr.Katsura had been Yukiji's elementary school teacher and the two had been very close.
