Shakugan no Shana is an anime adapted from Light Novel and Manga with the same name. The writter for the Novel is Yashichiro Takahashi and illustrated by Noizi Ito.
There have been 24 novels published as of November 2010. A manga series was created by Ayato Sasakura based on Light Novel and first serialization in the manga magazine Dangeki Daioh, in February 2005.
An anime series was created and end with the 2nd season between 2008-2009. The series keep continue in 2009-2010 for OVA version named Shakugan no Shana S, and the episode is 4 where in the end Shana want to meet Yuuji again in that mean thats will be an Season 3 of this anime !
Yuuji Sakai are a normal student walk into his school with the normal life of a boy in japan. He have friend name Hayato Ike. In short while Yuuji and Ike goes into home and stop by the music shop. After that, he want to went into his home but suddenly the atmosphere around him change into red with the time stop flowing and one by one people turn into blue flame and disappear into one direction.
As Yuuji surprised what he saw is not normal, the monster he saw start to attack Yuuji and at that time a little girl with red hair and glowing red eyes slice the monster hand and save Yuuji from it.
After pass a long explanation from the Flame Haze who named "Nietono no Shana" and her comrade "Alastor" who called Shana by Yuuji, he slowly understand about the circumstance around him and the fact that Yuuji itself is a Torch but with special ability and called Mystes.
The Battle with many bad Guze no Ou (The Lord of Crimson Realm who supposed to maintain the balance between 2 worlds) can't be avoided.
The 24 episodes are in the 1st Season with 2 special story and 1 movie, plus 24 episodes too in 2nd Season which mean it's a long for story in the "Season type" i know.
Are 3rd Season have this much of episodes too ?

Character
The characters really lot, so i'll just write some of it.
Sakai Yuuji
Age: 15 Years Old
Tall: 165 cm
He's not a normal student anymore when his life really change when he meet with Shana. His personality is good despite he always think of other friend and his parent condition while he in the serious situation. But not too sensitive about girl feeling towards him.
He has a special torch and called mystes with a important traesure inside it called "Reiji Maigo". A person with extraordinary hidden power who can cast Flame Haze with silver colour later in the 2nd Season, and can use Blutsauger(a thick shape and heavy sword alook) easily.
Enpatsu Shakugan no Uchi te / Shana
Age: Look alike 11,2 Years Old
Tall: 141 cm
Flame Haze called Enpatsu Shakugan no Uchi te. Her real name is unknown, but the named based on the her sword name called Flame Haze Nietono no Shana. She have a comrade, the named "Alastor" who called Tenjou no Gouka (Heaven's Flame) despite it's have a greatly amount of power different with the small shape of it. She start to worried about Yuuji after live in Yuuji Home a few days later. Her feeling toward him started to grow into love feeling yet she not notice it (in Yuuji side too). Her favorite food and eat every lunch is Melon Bread ~
Hayato Ike
Age: 15 Years Old
Tall: 164 cm
Are in the same class with Yuuji, and friend of him since junior high school. Nickname man of glasses.
Always help Yuuji. Can manage plan perfectly and diligence without exception. He is a class member comittee, and have dependence in all side.
He help Yoshida for her feeling with Yuuji and keep encourage him, yet Ike himself have a feeling with Yoshida too.
Kazumi Yoshida
Age: 15 Years Old
Tall: 158 cm
Yuuji's classmate.
Shana was interrupted by her presence, a shy girl, and a friend of former Hirai Yukari (Hirai existence disappear and Shana took her existance).
One day, yoshida have a favor to Yuuji at School Festival. Later, the relationship between Shana and Yuuji dense and get anxious. She's talent in her cooking, it's really good.
Eita Tanaka
Age: 15 Years Old
Tall: 175 cm
Yuuji's classmate. He is a charming athlete and have a big body.
He and Satou skipped the class often, and sometimes battle with random bad boys in the outside.
One day, he and satou meet a woman with purple outfit called Margery Daw who are a Flame Haze too like Shana and ends up help margery a lot in battle later. He called her with "sister" name.
Matake Ogata
Age: 15 Years Old
Tall: 170 cm
Cute rather than cool.
She is a member of Volleyball's Club, moreover she's in the first grade reguler.
Have a feeling with Eita later.
Keisaku Saitou
Age: 15 Years Old
Tall: 167 cm
One of Yuuji classmate too. His parents travel overseas, so he live alone in the home.
Skip the class often with Eita, and together help margery in the battle.
He let Margery stay in his home and ends up want to help margery as outlaw (an organization who help Flame Haze with all facilities), despite he not have a special ability who can't battled in Flame Haze world.
Margery Daw
Age: ??
Tall: 173 cm
Choushi no Yomite (Interpreter of Condolance) --- Margery Daw
Possess a name called 弔詞（Choushi）の（no）詠（yo）み（mi）手（te）. She is a Flame Haze with partner called Jyurin no Souga (Claws and Tusks of Violation) / Marcosius.
Her colour of flame is ultramarine.
Capabale of change her appearance while battle with Marcosius and join into powerful beast, moreover she can control the change form at her own will.
She is tall with a proportion of outstanding beauty, but have a drinking habit.
She have a revenge to Guze no Tomogara with Silver Flame who make her past a catastrophe.
Sakai Chigusa
Age: ??
Tall: ???
Yuuji's mother. She have a strong authority in home and really take care of Yuuji, calm personality.
Chigusa husband (Kantarou) are away from home to overseas.
She have a wrong assumption that she think Shana is a Yuuji girlfriend, and something to take care about.
Banjou no Shite --- Wilhelmina Carmel
Age: ??
Tall: 166 cm
Crown Phantom Zone (Infinite Armada / Mugen no Kantai). She is Flame Haze of Tiamat.
Her Flame colour is cherry blossom colour.
Tiamat is a ribbon shape and the power itself parry any attack from countless fires.
In the combat, she wear mask called "Persona".
For some reason, appearently she wear Maid outfit wherever she are.
Her emotion is expressionless, and always use "de arimasu" in each her last words.
She is live together with Shana in a past, and him before Shana become real Flame Haze.
Very competent in every way, and bad in cooking. Usually she made an instant food.
